  2. Define the PromiseName the heart of the story in one sentence.
  3. Meet Your HeroKnow what they want and how they must change.
  4. Know the DestinationWrite a rough ending so you have a direction.
  5. List the important eventsFind the moments that carry the story.
  6. Create ScenesTurn those moments into achievable units of progress.
  7. WriteOne scene. Then the next.
  8. FinishReach “The End” before criticism or revision begins.
  9. RefineShape the complete draft into its best form.

Your story stays yours

The system guides. You write every word.

Write a Little offers structure, encouragement and help when you are stuck. It does not generate your novel for you. The voice, choices and finished story remain unmistakably yours.

I barely have time. Is this still for me?

Yes. Your first session takes five minutes. After that, you choose a pace that fits your life. The aim is to keep the next piece of the story achievable.

What if I never know what to write?

Open a page and write the next true sentence. Nothing you write has to be useful. You can also name a book and keep its pages together.

What if I come back after some time away?

Your work remains exactly where you left it. Nothing is taken away. Return when you can and take the next small step.

Does AI write any part of my novel?

No. The current beta uses local, pre-written guidance and does not need a production AI service. The system provides structure and encouragement; you make every creative choice and write every word.

Is my private writing uploaded?

In the current beta, your writing is stored locally on your iPhone and no account is required. Read the plain-English privacy note for the precise beta behaviour.
